• Expert support during product development process with special knowledge in analyzing and optimizing of purchased parts, internal added value and Make-and-Buy analysis • Perform independent (Best-Practice-Product) cost calculations (Greenfield) according to the commodity structure, considering TCO aspects • Perform and lead supplier process workshops (Brown-Field-View) and evaluate supplier´s cost performance in relevant commodity • Support purchasing in cost negotiations with suppliers for the responsible commodities • Evaluation of change requests and impact on investment costs (TCO) • Develop solutions in process- and product optimization • Validation of supplier quotes and preparation of deviation analysis for Best-Practice-Product calculations • Full responsible for cost analysis regarding one specific commodity (electronics, plastics or metal treatment)
Several years working experience in calculation, planning or production / wish >5years Bachelor‘s Degree in Engineering or related discipline with profound technical knowledge English verbal and written communication skills
