Technology & Business • Manage E&T Team include PPE and GAS team • Responsible for deliverables NPI/VE programs for China HIS business • Coordinate the China engineering priorities in close cooperation with the global engineering and China business leadership. • Drive core capability development with respect to product line design knowledge, program management and NPI process across all HIS product line • Drive continuous improvement using the principles of lean product development & six sigma • Plan the annual AOP & manage the China HIS engineering activities within allocated budgets • Work with the technology & business teams to drive regional business growth • Drive the regional business growth through customer engagements, supporting the key account wins, & delivering strong business results; • Facilitate the engagement of the China located engineers with key customers to enable development of a strong business pipeline. • Build a strong network with business and stakeholders in various functions. • Be able to build strong eco system to drive innovation Business impact • Set up E&T KPI in order to measure performance and drive excellence, which align with business needs and R&D functional requirement • Support the short- and long-term strategies for China HIS BCC business profitability and growth, as well as support E2R business as business priority • Develop technology roadmaps to support regional market to be able ahead of our competitor. • Drive innovation & create growth ideas relevant to local markets and products. Work closely with regional business team for idea conceptualization and to drive regional market growth People • Develop optimized organization to allow support business growth and people development. • Develop a staffing plan and training programs aligned with business needs; • Mentor / coach / guide experienced engineering leaders reporting into this role. • Drive effective people practices through hiring strategy, rewarding, motivating & retention strategy and talent differentiation for high performance. • Drive the culture & behavior – entrepreneur and passionate to be high standard employee • Responsible for developing people and competencies that are required for future growth
Qualifications • BS minimum / MS preferred in EE/ME/Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline with at least 15 years’ experience • Experience with new product development process Familiar with Lean Product Development principles • Experience on develop local product to support China business growth • Experience on working with business GM • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills & fluent in English • Demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing a team of technology specialists • Good business acumen • Focus on execution & responsiveness to customers, team and management • Innovative and integrative thinker quick to visualize solutions and generate ideas • Ability to network, collaborate with and influence large teams, Experience working in matrix org structure • High energy & enthusiasm & self-motivated
