ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. • Recruits (sourcing candidates through print advertisements, web-based postings, job fairs, external recruitment firms and temporary placement agencies), interviews, tests, and assists in the selection of employees to fill properly approved Direct Labor, Indirect Labor and management level positions in Shanghai. • Plans, conducts and ensures the successful completion of Employee On-boarding, including an introduction to our company culture, initial new hire orientation and position specific skills training as required. • Oversees employee workplace safety programs. Investigates accidents and prepares reports as required by governmental regulation and company guidelines for disability and industrial injuries. • Responsible for managing all company sponsored employee welfare programs, including employee transportation services (employee shuttle buses, car transport services), employee dining, employee recreation, holiday celebrations, employee annual leave benefits and employee recognition and award programs and all employee communications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) in China. • 5+ years of experience managing a team of HR specialists in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, etc. within a manufacturing environment.
