- Lead world-area supply chain performance improvements in support of business needs; areas of improvement include on-time delivery, quality, cost initiatives and intra-company parts/assembly issues.
- Use appropriate tools and processes, to include, but may not be limited to the following: Lean Techniques, Six Sigma Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Capability Studies, Process Mapping, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility Analysis (Gage R&R) 
- Manage projects through completion, using Quality Assurance, Engineering and Procurement associates as needed across the business
- Conduct training at suppliers in the use of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and global Supplier Quality Manual requirements
- Track and monitor supplier performance metrics in respective world area.
- Conduct project briefings to upper-level management
- Lead supplier approvals process; conduct on-site quality system (ESAC) and process audits, to include follow up and closure of open items discovered during the audits
- Assist commodity managers in leading supplier business reviews
- World-area responsibility for supply chain performance.
