- Utilize macro and micro BU to manage the profitability, investments, growth and customer service levels of manufactured products. - Meet or exceed customer service goals. - Meet or exceed financial performance goals.. - Promote waste reduction programs that meet division objectives. - Review operational checks and balances for minimizing the plant risk of doing business. - Develop a highly motivated and technically qualified workforce that provides promotional opportunities and advanced technical capabilities. - Develop and implement programs to insure safe and ethical working conditions for employees. - Maintain accurate costing of products to allow Marketing to make informed, strategic pricing decisions. - Support division strategic procurement strategies within each plant. - Meet all lean initiatives.
- Bachelor of Science or Arts required; Masters preferred. - 10+ years of major professional accomplishments, including increasing responsibility and leadership of projects and teams of considerable size, scope and complexity. - Sufficient experience and background in accounting, manufacturing, human resources management, inventory control and strategic planning. - Grade is determined on the number of plants assigned, complexity of plants, production costs, and breath of experience. - Efficient in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes. - Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results by meeting organizational objectives. - Capable of assessing and developing individual and team skills and capabilities. Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals. Serve as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Involved with or lead a team in lean process improvements/implementation preferred.
