• Conceptual work in supply chain design for new and existing plants / Improving methods and procedures. Analysis and evaluation of existing logistical processes at foreign locations with regard to optimization potential (eg. program planning, flows of goods etc.). Implementation of best practice solutions based on standards in the SCM reference model. Continuous development of existing concepts. Planning and implementation of complete logistics concepts (inbound / outbound) in cooperation with the ZF departments, suppliers and service providers according to the requirements for the supply chain. • Cooperation in the definition and design of logistical standards in the P- Division and the Group Coopreration in definition and design of new logistical standards. Representation of the interests and conditions of the division in the individual group work-courses. Identification and coordination of conflicts of interests and targets. •Implementation of logistic key figures at new locations Ensure the implementation of standards for key figures at new locations (e.g. Turnover frequency, stocks, delivery reliability from suppliers / customers) Support of the introduction of tools for the determination of key figures (for example Bensberg) together with the departments and the IT. Training of employees in the application of the tools •Support for localization and relocation projects Support of the product group strategy by optimizing the supply chain at new and existing production sites. Planning and execution of supplier audits regarding logistics processes (GMMOG) Definition, tracking and supporting measures for the process optimization of the supplier.
• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or business administration (Bachelor or Master) • Several years of professional experience as supply chain / logistics manager • Profound knowledge of logistics processes within the automotive industry • Secure handling of MS-Office-applications and good knowledge in SAP R/3 (Modules: SD, PP, MM) • Fluent in business English language. • Willingness to travel on company business • Flexibility, being proactive and having the ability to work under pressure are essentials
