Position Summary:
This individual will be responsible to supervise a team and provide sourcing and procurement services in support of FCC China 4 locations. Works with BUMs to understand the strategic sourcing objectives of each product. Working with the manufacturing, engineering & quality team to develop and grow a viable supplier base in China. Provide support to global sourcing. This position requires traveling as needed.
This position requires a high degree of mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality, negotiation, procurement, organization design, people management skills. Must have excellent understanding of manufacturing and processes. In addition, this person must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Closely interacts with business unit on their individual projects to locate and develop supply base to meet objectives. And plans, directs, and monitors all purchasing activities to ensure standards of price, quality, reliability, and customer service are met
Job Responsibility:
Develop sourcing organization and build up strategy procurement system. Aligning with the overall business objectives and cost saving targets.
Develop a qualified supplier base; supervise supplier performance & continuously improvement. Build and maintain strong, long-term agreement with key suppliers.
Evaluate organization performance & benchmark the organization development.
Lead and manage sourcing teams at each of the locations, providing guidance, training, and performance tracking
职位要求
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in engineering or mechanical engineering, MBA is preferred.
5-10 years’ experience in a procurement organization.
3-5 years experience in managerial position.
Excellent written and spoken English is a must
Solid negotiation skills and effective communication skills internally and externally
High standard of ethics and honesty
Must be willing to travel frequently.
